You should take your pet in for a annual health check-ups in order to detect early signs of disease and increase the longevity of your pet's life. This will include a full physical exam where Dr. Kodsy will check the health of your pet from nose to tail. One of our Registered Veterinary Technicians will start the appointment by weighing your pet and then taking a thorough medical history by asking a series of questions about your pet and their habits. We will then discuss health care recommendations specifically for your pet based on their lifestyle and needs. We will take their vitals and pass along any important information to Dr Kodsy before he examines your pet. Our technician will be more than happy to provide a nail trim for your pet while you wait. A typical appointment lasts 30 minutes.
In some circumstances, Dr. Kodsy will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
