Merina has been working with animals of all sizes from pocket pets to horses, since she was a teenager. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca College in 2021. She will be returning to Seneca in 2023 to complete the Veterinary Technician program. Merina hopes to one day specialize in Rehabilitative care for pets.

Merina has two pets of her own at home, Chloe, a Shih Tzu, and a cat named Kenzie. She also often looks after her parents dog Gibson, an English Bull Terrier, who she considers one of her own. All three keep her very busy!

Merina is fear free certified, and is passionate about provided the best care to each and every pet!
